Gerry was professional, friendly and went above and beyond what is usually expected from a realtor. He not only gave me a tour of the property but also drove me around town (as I was new to San Diego) and showed me the Gaslamp district, introduced me to a great gym across the street and also took me to his social club! He was creative with identifying alternate lending opportunities (though we ended up with a traditional jumbo loan through our preexisting banking contacts), and helped secure us an extension to close which saved the property for us (as acknowledged even by the seller's agent). Gerry was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend him for your next home purchase or sale. I came across Gerry on Zillow because I was randomly looking for an apartment in downtown San Diego that was under $375k and very little down payment. The price combined with my requirements of low HOA, patio, and wood floors essentially put Gerry on the hunt for a unicorn in a seller's market. Gerry treated me as if I was buying a $1 million condo downtown. He was extremely responsive, consistently followed up with me, and was never pushy. When I found the apartment that I wanted, Gerry immediately put in an offer for me before any other buyers had the opportunity. Despite offering asking price, the seller's agent was not very cooperative and delayed acceptance of the offer for over a week, likely in an attempt to get more competing offers. I was very frustrated and wanted to back out, but Gerry convinced me to be patient. Gerry remained persistent with seller's agent without being too aggressive, and ultimately, he went above and beyond to make sure that my offer was accepted.
